AMC stock

I tend to stay away from "meme" stocks. Now, AMC has been around for awhile and has plenty of locations and employees so its obviously got some weight to it. However why in the past week (late May early June) has there been a lot of hooplah going on about AMC? Is this another attempt similar to the Wallstreet bets thing? I have no positions in AMC nor will I. I just figured this is a good place to gather thoughts on it. Thank you in advance

Not sure, but as far as I'm aware AMC hasn't been getting any more attention lately than other stocks. Everything saw a bounce at the end of last week.

But always a good opportunity for an AMC meme...

Housing Future short term

Put on LGIH

The housing market is still relatively strong in certain areas. However things are becoming less ideal across many factors that effect people's ability to buy homes, especially new homes. Too soon to call a short?

From a technical analysis perspective, it looks like it is holding its monthly support level very well so far, with the monthly candle closing at the close of trading tomorrow. I am more inclined to buy this with a monthly candle close below 88.13 as my mental stop loss than short it.
